The Teacher Food Bank crowdfunding campaign got a donation of several thousand pounds of fresh produce from the charitable farm (Gods Little Acre) listed below in the link. We got to go and distribute the stuff directly to teachers on picket lines in Surrey, as well as dropping off a ton of it at the Surrey Teacher Food Bank. Such a nice recharge after spending a couple weeks in front of the computer raising money (we are almost at $7000 so far! igg.at/me/teacherfund ) These guys at the farm below are always looking for volunteers around harvest times if you are local to the Lower Mainland. They rely on volunteer help to get their stuff to charities and food banks.
