Among the hundreds of millions of phones spied on, less than 300 - TopicsExpress

Among the hundreds of millions of phones spied on, less than 300 are suspect. Lets see, We spend what? $150 billion on spying and frisking people. That amounts to $500 MILLION per suspect per year. On average, there are less than 10 deaths per year in the US due to terror. So on average, only one death results when 30 suspects are monitored (30 x 10). Therefore, the cost per death amounts to $15 BILLION per terrorist death. These are ballpark estimates based on casual observation. Add to this the police state tactics, the hundreds of millions of hours being searched and felt up and pushed around by DHS, FBI, and militarized police, and we should ask ourselves if all this is worth it. My thought is Hell No. It is a huge waste of taxpayer resources. Congress Rogers thinks it is effective. I wonder if he knows, or cares, what the cost is. To him, constitution be damned. politico/blogs/politico-live/2013/06/rogers-nsa-lockbox-stopped-dozens-of-plots-166330.html
