Among the names of Jahannam (Hell) is An-Naar (the Fire), Al-JaHeem (the Inferno), Saqar (Hell), LaDHaa (Flame), and Al-HuTamah (the Crusher). It has black flames and spits out sparks as big as castles. It has seven gates and it has gatekeepers. The Hell Angels are called the Zabaaniyah. Hell is 70 years deep. It has a valley called Al-Wayl that starts from the depth of 40 years. It has a tree that grows out of its base called Zaqqoom. It will remain forever, time lapsing over it, age after age, each age coming with its own type of torture. When one age comes to an end, another begins. A person will be in Hell, everlastingly standing on two coals in shallow fire; the fire comes to his ankles. It makes his brain boil. He will think he has the greatest torture of Hell while it is the mildest. Dont be offended that God threatens you with Hell. He didnt have to warn you.
