An Epistemology of Junubin~ My epistemology of South Sudan is that change will not come until South Sudanese stop saying they want change and start dreaming it. It will not come until a few charismatic ambassadors of change rise to challenge the current Status-Quo. These individuals will be loved and adored by Equatorians, just as much as they would be embrace by other minority tribes in Bar El Ghazal and Upper Nile. Their lustre and prowess will be mutually cherished by all like a Pot-of-Gold. But just as the posse-comitatus are about to fulfil duties charged to them by their destinies, theyll run into the most cruelest-fates ever known to mankind... Fates that will hurt the Dinkas and the Nuers alike, and will leave the rest of the country in a confined bereavement period. Im talking about a fate enforced by South Sudanese upon themselves through their unconventional ways. A fate unconscionably brought into being by majority, with exception to a few (narcissistic elites and intellectuals) who consciously supported the prevalent of a failed system and incompetent leadership. Their discouragement of good is best explained by the economic incentives they possess at expense of the lamenting rest. A fate so intrinsic in nature, that it enables a dash of cold tears to drip upon the fragmented hearts of many South Sudanese, shrouding their hopes and leaving them in a state of confusion and political distrust. The disparity that succumbs the nation as a consequent, will denounce sectarian politics and corruption, and will cultivate in an embryo that will conceive a new and inclusive nationalism for the post-generations. Only then, will the nation wake before the dawn of a new era. I previse a phenomenal change that will teach a hard lesson. A change that will significantly re-write history awaits you all, but it is a pre-condition that one awakes his/her conscience beforehand. If catastrophes such as the recent crisis failed to teach South Sudanese a moral lesson about themselves, what else would? Perhaps removal of something they all love (with mutual benevolence) will open their eyes to see the evil that resides with them at home. An evil, their unconventional ways miserably failed to expose. #JustSayin
