An Open Letter to The governor of Delta state,His Excellency Dr Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan . YOU CAN STILL PUT SMILES ON THE FACES OF DELTANS. sir Greetings in the name of Our Lord Jesus christ.I have studied the whole atmosphere in Delta state, politically, socially and otherwise, and I have also sampled Opinions coupled with my own thinking and have come to realise that you did not serve Deltans the way you ought to serve them,I recall how you severally muscled your way through to become the governor of Delta state,I am also aware of how you came out through series of court cases successfully(how that happened remains a mystery to some of us). A number of reasons has been attributed to your inability to perform as governor of Delta state for 8years, Some cited reasons like your unending election court cases with Great Ogboru and others being a distraction,Some also cited reasons like you paying a huge debt owned by your predecessor chief James Ibori as a core reasons for your failure to give Deltans the dividends of democracy,Some Also made reference to the issue of militancy that brought about insecurity in our water ways as a major reason why you could not perform since companies now has to relocate due to persistent kidnapping of oil workers,But sir I dont really think these reasons are substantial enough for failing Deltans as these are the challenges many other government in other states passed through yet they performed. The political events that occurred the last few weeks further showed how the people even your strong ally are disappointed in you, otherwise how can you explain your inability to deliver your own candidate in the governorship primaries? At the end many of your loyalist worked against your instructions, probably to prove a point that they are angry with you and the best way for them to vent their anger is to make sure your anointed candidate loses,Deltans were happy your candidate could not win,Sir to be sincere with you many deltans dont like you because of how you have treated us,you refuse to create employment for graduates, Okay take for example the civil service exams that job seekers paid #1000 for what happened after that?Exams was not conducted and 1000naira was not refunded,is this not the height of mans inhumanity to man? .On roads you failed us,on empowerment you failed us,On employment you failed us,the money you were supposed to use in enriching the state you used it in bagging several media awards,It is not enough to bag awards,it is for us to recognise what you have done for us as a people, but sadly we cant see any bit of your presence in this state, sir sincerely you failed me and you failed Deltans. This is however not a letter to highlight the failures of this government. Sir,there is only one way now for you to salvage this whole mess,There is only one option for you to woo Deltans,we are no longer expecting much from you as it regards development because it is way too late,we can only pray and be optimistic that the next Government does the needful and give us the dividends of democracy we could not enjoy from you.Sir the only way you can put die-minute smiles in the faces of Deltans is to give us a free, fair and credible elections in 2015 in all ties of government.Do not be involve in the manipulating process whether you are a PDP leader or not,Give all party level playing ground afterall you have nothing a stake,We are aware how the ruling party manipulates INEC elections nationwide, please sir dont be involve.Ensure that the interest of all is well represented,Give Deltans the chance to choose who we want to represent us from the house of Assembly to the presidency.Provide adequate security and ensure one of the best elections ever witnessed in the history of this state.Do this for us and we will forever remain grateful to you.Sir this is your chance to correct a few impression about you. I pray this letter gets to you in optimism that you will act on it.God bless you and I wish you and your family a merry Christmas and a Prosperous New year. Your loyal subject, Aduomayebe Adums Aghogho.
