An Unborn Life January 31 | Taken from a message by Adrian Rogers Let me tell you something, an unborn baby is human life. Oh, they say, its not human life. Well, if its not human life, what kind of life is it? You say, Well, were not sure. All right, suppose I have a machine gun, and I know that somebody is standing behind a door and I fire that machine gun. Thats murder, right? Now suppose I have a machine gun and I know that nobody is standing behind that door and I fire the machine gun. Thats not murder, right? But suppose Im just not sure whether somebody is standing behind that door or not, thinking there may be or there may not be, and I fire that machine gun. Am I, then, guilty if somebody dies? Yes. You see, what I need to do is to be sure not whether or not that it is life, but before I can take that life I have to be sure that it is not human life. If everybody says we cant be sure, then I say, if youre going to err, err on the side of life. Jeremiah 1:5a says, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee.
