An absolute GREAT Fall makeover for GREAT clients in Niskayuna, New York.......... Starting with removal of an old Bilco door and foundation repairs and continuing with the removal of an at least 8 thick concrete patio topped with a additional 2 of ugly blacktop. Amending the primarily clay subgrade with lime, clean stone, and compacted stone fill on soil stabilization fabric we moved forward. Troys Landscaping Supply expertly delivered the chosen product - Techo Bloc Monticello slabs in Rock Garden Brown. Beautifully conceived client concept...........plimentary to the period and design of the brick home and supportive of the beautiful perennial gardens and arbors surrounding the footprint. The chiseled edges of each slab added and old world charm. Note the radius cuts made also with our clients suggestion....and the hand-hewn chiseled edges we applied to match the main body slabs detail. A one-step landing was constructed using Dagostino Building Block provided Versa Lok in weathered Pebble. The tread inlay was also Tech Bloc Monticello. Grout was Allliance Super Sand polysand in Slate Gray. From start to finish, a pleasure to work for - and with - our Niskayuna clients.
