An act is not considered dangerous in itself, but the consequences of the act. This is why in the developed states, negligence is as evil as active offences. Death is bad, and who ever is responsible should be punished. These youth that died in their pursuit for survival died as a result of negligence by one or two persons. Until Nigeria begin to prosecute people for negligence of duty, we will still be far from the promised land. Most of the problems we face in Nigeria are due to negligence; the Police, the Govt, the teachers/lecturers, the doctors, the drivers, the nurse, the contractor, the trader, the landlord, administrators and managers, etc all have caused one havoc or the other bcs they left undone what they were suppose to do. No wonder the Bible says that when we know what to do and refuse to do it, it is sin. God will help even myself for I am not innocent
