An amazing double by Team New Balance at the Ironman World Championship this weekend! Sebastian - Sebi - Kienle won his first Ironman World Championship title on only his fourth attempt, destroying the field with the days fastest bike split of 4:20:46 over 180km and securing the win with a 2:54:36 marathon, finishing the race in a time of 8:14:18. 2-time Ironman World Champion, Mirinda Rinny Carfrae, started the day poorly with a bad swim and struggled to keep up with her main competitors on the bike but she staged an incredible comeback on the run with a recording-breaking 2:50:26 marathon to win her third Ironman World Championship title in 9:00:55.
