An angry person took issue with me for my post re meeting joan rivers, in a hateful rant about jrs anti-Palestinian comments. I tried to play devils advocate, but this facebooker, whos cultural bg is from Palestine, just wanted to post hateful death to jr that was worse than hate directed at ISIS. She also ripped me a new asshole for suggesting that jr was having an opinion about war and countered hate with more hate. The two of us raced for the unfriend button, as I dont need someone to drag me int her hateolog. I apologized if my post made her feel uncomfortable (its still up, but I deleted her hateful comments to both jr and me), told her I was sorry about her middle eastern ancestors, then blocked her. I have no ill feelings toward her, but I dont want to sit in the same room with her, knowing her level of blinding hatred towards anyone taking Israels side in a war most people dont understand, so I blocked. She is a member of this group, and if she is also posting about this, I wont know since the blocking. My list of people I hate include people in power who can pass laws to hurt others, not comics who have opinions about how citizens are dumb for supporting a war. Uniformed comics with opinions about war are different than diabolical people out to kill others for profit. Jmo. Please dont hijack this post with opinions about the war itself. Go start a thread about the war if you want to talk about that. My purpose is just to announce how someones deep hate can blind them to everything else sometimes, including rational posts about meeting people who spent a lifetime fighting for equality for women, gays, minorities and helping people laugh.
