An appeal to the Owners/Drivers of Autorickshaws of Blore City: Bangalore Traffic Police has launched a project called as “Bangalore city saptavarna suraksha sugama sanchara” and BC4S in short, which will ensure effective service delivery mechanism and also will ensure safety and security of the driver, owner and the commuters.In this connection, a mechanism is devised in which the auto-rickshaw are given a specified “alphanumeric colour code” based on the each of the traffic sub-divisional areas comprising seven such sub-divisions in Bangalore city. A colour code sticker is given to such autorickshaws after verifying the original documents and the present owner to whom the auto rickshaws belongs. After the verification of the documents such as RC/FC/IC/Permit/Tax/DL, Display card, a permanent colour coded sticker containing the BC4S registration number apart from the existing registration number will be given to them. It is therefore requested to co-operate with traffic police in getting the BC4S registration done at the area Traffic Police Station at the earliest.
