An elaborate conspiracy exists between Penndot, a few clever lobbyists, select engineering firms, and larger scale highway construction firms in Pennsylvania. Our roads are designed to cause accidents and kill people. Highway construction is planned and outlined with the clear intention to create a future need for more construction. More construction means more money. More deaths and accidents means more leverage to have budgets approved for what??? More construction and more money for the parties listed above. If you have any doubt about this, just drive on or around the new 83/581 interchange. Whatever uncertainty you may posess regarding my claim will quickly diminish.
