An exciting opportunity has opened for me. Last week I was asked to come and do a week long Children’s Program at the “God’s Cowboys Old fashioned Camp Meeting in Dulce, NM. The dates are June 23-28. The Camp Meeting will be held on The Wager Ranch. Bro. Rome Wager is from the Lakota tribe. The Camp Meeting is on the Jicarilla Apache reservation. The preachers will be from various reservations and Native American works. There will also be a “Horseman Clinic” held each morning from 9-12. I have a lot on my plate, but I believe this is an opportunity I dare not miss. In the past, the Camp Meeting had from 20 – 60 children per night. Except for the children of the Camp Meeting attendees, the children will be coming from the Jicarilla Apache reservation. I plan to leave for Dulce (about a 3 ½ hour drive) Sunday afternoon following our morning service. Bro Rome told me about a short cut through the Navajo Reservation. Prayerfully I can follow his directions and save about 60 miles of driving. Unless something changes I will be camping during the week. The Camp Meeting is about 20 miles from the nearest town. I do not if I will have internet connections or cell phone service. Please pray for a fruitful Camp Meeting. Thank you for your prayers.
