An improvement can be the level of representation of women in local level politics. Maybe that’s something you have to look at, because in one way we are looking at Denmark as an example on how to strengthen democracy, especially concerning women. So why is it that when you have come such a long way, statistically the same tendency is present in both Denmark as in Bhutan where barriers to women’s participation and trends is similar. Denmark is so progressive, yet how come the mindset is similar to where we have come from? That is something your society has to reflect on.
