An info session for the Ghana ASB Experience will be held TODAY! Wednesday, October 30th at 6:30 pm in the CSI SmartClassroom (106 Student Center). Do you like to travel? Do you like to do community service? Do you think you could do community service for 2 weeks? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then UK Alternative Service Breaks is for you! UK Alternative Service Breaks is pleased to announce our first-ever summer break service immersion in Accra, Ghana - May 17-31, 2014! Volunteer applications for our summer break program are currently being accepted through Friday, Nov. 8th at 5pm. This is the first year UK ASB will offer a summer break program, and the first time our volunteers will venture into the African continent! Volunteers will work with our non-profit partner, Cheerful Hearts Foundation, to teach various subjects in Ghanaian schools in need. Your non-refundable deposit of $150 will also be due by the November 8th deadline to reserve your spot. All deposits can be paid at the Ticket Center located in room 253 Student Center.
