Sunday: joining the Syrian Orthodox community for prayers in Aramaic at their ancient room in the Holy Sepulchre, chanting prayers for peace-shalom, salaam, shelomo (Aramaic) on the rooftops at the corner of the 4 quarters of the Old City, silent meditation on the steps at the Southern Old City walls, right under Al-Aqsa mosque, visit to the Kotel, chanting in an ancient underground mikveh with water at the Western Wall tunnels; Monday: Meditation at the Garden Tomb, visit to the Church of All Nations/ Garden of Gesthemane, meditation, chants and sounds of a flute in the Tomb of Rabiya of Basra/Damascus, the Sufi woman saint, on the Mount of Olives, lunch and stories with Muslim peacemaker Ibrahim Abuelhawa at his home, visit to King Davids Tomb, Last Supper room and Dormition Abbey on Mt. Zion, visit with Syrian Orthodox Abuna Moshe and chants of the Lords Prayer in the Aramaic at the St. Marks Syrian Orthodox monastery in the Jewish quarter.
