An interesting response to my thinking about peace post from the other day from some of you. I paraphrased Golda Meir from her remarkable speech for its clarity,compassion and insistence for sanity in an often insane world. Some of you took my comment as regarding Israel and Gaza only (because Mrs Meir was the head of Israel as youll recall). But in fact I was pondering peace as I was performing last night at a peace concert in remembrance of a little Japanese girl, Sadako, caught in the blast of Hiroshima who died from the awful effects in 1955. Shed been told that if she folded a thousand origami cranes she would live. She folded 644 paper cranes.Her friends finished the 1000 in her honor.I suppose she is Japans Ann Frank. I honor and recognize the great voices of soulful wisdom wherever I can find them and apply their infinite wisdom, not limited to their portion of the world, but the whole world itself.M
