An old friend of mine, Monique Lacarte, posted this on her wall. Seems a friend of hers caught this guy on camera down by Churchill Square. This is an unbelievable example of not judging a book by its cover. If any of us ran into this guy on the street, we would most likely think the same thing, Drunk, homeless, bum, addict. But what we dont see is the potential, the talent, the passion. The music this one man plays is amazing. The beauty of the song shows a previously unseen side to this gentleman. I cant claim to know his situation or personal story but he gives me a new outlook on society. I always thought these pianos strewn across the city were pointless but now, I cant help but think this is exactly what the artist had in mind when he started.
