An open letter to Mr. Mangeram Sharma,Natonal Secretary ,Shiv Sena from an ALIG Respected Sir, With due respect I am writing this letter to you on going through a news regarding to your suspect about a hidden treasure in AMU, published in a Hindi news paper Hindustan,23rd October,2013 . The news was quoted as “AMU mai ho sakta hai khazana”.In the news it was found that you and some others respective members of Shiv Saina alleged about the chances of hidden treasure in the History department of AMU. With due respect I want to convey you that that the treasure is not below, in the soil of AMU but it is present in the respective classrooms, libraries, departments ,faculties and roads among the students of AMU.I am talking about the treasure of talent, creativity, intelligence and Extra ordinary thinking. I really feel delighted to tell you that the History department of AMU has such talented and stupendous historians, professors that they can write the history by their own if the history of the whole world would be deleted. I am really astonished to find that they had have never told about any hidden treasure you alleged about. With due respect I really feel sorry to say that it really looks funny when a person from a non historical background challenges about the things relevant to some historical aspects at the place where worldwide fame historians live. Mr. Sharma , The world has been tittering at us that just on a forecasting by some holy man, a treasure hunt got started in India. With due respect it’s my personal request to you don’t let give the world some more chances to laugh on us. In this fast race of the world our country has already left behind too much economically, socially, logically and politically(If we ignore the so called bragging and try to reveal the actual truth ) In the last I want to make you clear Sir that I am not writing this letter to you by keeping some religious conflicts in my mind. You may consider it as letter from an Alig. It doesn’t matter to which religion he or she belongs. We all, the students of different religions live here together with love and prosperity. A lot of things bring us together because all of us are bound by a shared love of AMU and all of us are linked by common goals and common interests and common cause. We are not divided by religion but we are united by our history and heritage. We are part of Aligarh family. Aligarh tells the story of our past and it defines our future. AMU remains an inseparable and an indispensable part of our life and our journey and our story. Aligarh Muslim University stands as a shining symbol of quality, equality, dignity, decency, inclusiveness, openness, tolerance, and respect. These are the qualities and the values of AMU that all of us can proudly and truly embrace. With much love and Respect An Alig,AMU
