An open letter was on my mind, however the right words have been so hard to find. I need to articulate with professionalism and grace, the heavy heart that now etches dismay on my face. As a citizen, a hemp advocate and an aspiring business woman, I am appalled by some people’s actions and what so called leaders are doing. To advocate synthetic chemicals in place of the whole plant, sets up more of the same rhetoric from which we can’t advance. To focus on profits and riches via competition for wealth, Leaves no room for creative compassion or the people and planets health. I am frustrated, I am disillusioned and I am sure I am not the only one, I look at this over regulated world and wonder what is to become? Become of our freedoms our liberties and children, when the divide is widening and legislators ignore the most logical solutions. It’s not just confined to the Cannabis debate, it’s natural remedies, natural living and organic produce that’s at stake. When will the system be thrown out and we return to a more natural law, Where integrity, intuition and trust are revered once more. I am tired of the system and its contempt for the average citizen, When many of us know what are the markings of an intelligent decision.
