An opportunity to help those crossing the US border: From Rev. Jessica Lower, Grace Presbyterian Church, El Paso: As most of you now know, many immigrants seeking asylum from Central America are being transported into El Paso while they await processing and court dates. In response, churches and non-profit organizations have been teaming up to provide them shelter and care to keep off of the streets while in the city. The needs of the Immigrant Project are sudden and great. We need your help with the following items: TOWELS NEW UNDERWEAR FOR KIDS AND WOMEN NEW SOCKS SHOES (new or gently used) It is rare for us to be faced with such an opportunity as this one to share the love of God through Christ—please do not delay in responding to this need.
