An update on everything: By now you all should know that in roundabout a week, me and the amazing blonde I live with have scheduled a baby into our respective planners. We expect him sometime on the 9th of August, and we do hope he is punctual so as to not interfere with our other plans of that day. Not that well be judging him to too harshly if hes fashionably late, but if hes hoping to make a good impression on his first task as a human being, hell make at least a good effort. In this meantime, a bit of a hiatus has sprung up, as quite literally doing anything beyond relaxing and baby planning ties the interior of my abdomen into something resembling a spilled bowl of garlic knots on a filthy kitchen floor. And now theres hair all stuck to it and all the good garlicky bits have blown under the fridge. In this meantime, Im at least attempting to keep the website updated with our guest contributors: AR/KVB with the delightful Danse Farm Radio podcast, and Rachel, the Mistress of Music. Most of the footage for the Seven Brides for Seven Brothers episode of Music Movies is complete, just requiring voice overs and editing, but I wouldnt expect to see a release for another few weeks as we sort our new lives out. We also need to sort this house out, its not exactly baby-proof yet, but its getting there. I want to thank all of you for not only your amazing patience, but your kind words and support as well. Its a wonderful time for us, but also highly stressful and the tweets, messages, e-mails and well-wishes are doing our hearts a lot of good. A special thanks to all who have found our Amazon Baby Registry and picked out some fancy new duds for the baby to rock. There is no wrong time of the year for skeleton onesies. Me and the Maven of the Eventide both look forward to sharing our first moments with the new kid with all of you, and would like to not only prepare you for the deluge of pictures and disgusting cutesiness, but apologise profusely in advance for those with hair-trigger gag reflexes. There will be more Quest for Glory and Outtakes videos coming out in the meantime since those are fairly fun and easy to produce, so you can chew on those while some new ideas are baking in this interim time.
