Anadi does not have an understanding of Samadhi in the body. None - TopicsExpress

Anadi does not have an understanding of Samadhi in the body. None of these neo-advaita teachers do. They have not embodied whatever mental understanding they have reached. It is necessary to organize the lower centers using a Ki (Chi) practice like Tai Chi, Qigong, or Karate, which draws the mental experience outwards from the internal instrument, thru the vital, and into the external instrumentation. Neo-advaitins have no understanding because they take the position that the body is an obstacle to spiritual progress. On the contrary, the reality is that the body is made of consciousness and houses our individual consciousness. It is the temple. One must take care of and maintain the temple and spiritualize it, not try to escape it. There truly is nothing in experience that compares with maintaining body consciousness while walking around in Samadhi. The world becomes very different. The other point is that it is not several types of Samadhi. It is a continuum awareness rides. When one does heavy mental activity or physical activity that absorbs awareness, Samadhi goes into the background. But, it is still there and can be felt when one becomes mentally or physically still. Stillness causes intensifying as it comes to the forefront. Standing in lines waiting, or stopped at traffic lights, becomes a glorious opportunity to go deep, deep into it while maintaining body awareness. This isnt coming from any book. I am relating my personal experience. The base line of it becomes more intense each day as ones capacity increases. It is like any type of activity we do. You do your practices and build your capacity. He really ought to take a look and study Sri Aurobindos Supramental Integral Yoga a bit before broaching the topic. This talk is meaningless.
