Anastasia asks Hi there, I was diagnosed with RRMS February 2013. My first symptoms were extreme anxiety and head aches. I went home to my parents to try and sort myself out but I then started getting this buzzing feeling in my legs. 2 days later I became paralysed from the waist down (a week before my 20th birthday). Moving on from that I now have to walk with a crutch as having 3 aggressive relapses within 5 months of being diagnosed. I started on Tysabri in August 2013 and I think Im the only one on the planet that it doesnt work to its full expectation! MRI scan results show after 6 months Ive got a new lesion on my brain but that Im stable and Ive just had a relapse (but not a hospital worthy relapse!) Im giving the Tysabri 3 months to see if it will keep me stable and then talk of changing DMDs to something other. I am really nervous and anxious about this so Id really appreciate some advice or hear if you have had similar experiences to me and what the outcome was? Thanks xx
