And I rushed-in after giving-in to my last minute fries & Nuggets temptation. As I entered the theatre, I heard loud applauses, screams & whistles. For a moment, I thought people were welcoming me & felt like a true star that I think I AM in my head. ;-) But then, appadiye chumma oru side-glance potey (I side-glanced casually) towards the screen & realised all the noise & clapping was for the tittle credits Super Star Rajini that was rolling on the silver screen. :) Cut to the heros entry scene. And watte an entry!! Typical Rajni ishtyle...befitting the Super star, super hero & the Super human being that he is. And the Rajni-crazy audiences in the theatre again go beserk...clapping, whistling & chanting thalaivar for a good 2-3 minutes. From that moment onwards, till the last scene, you are all smiles & laughs as the charm, attitude, body language & flamboyance of Rajnikanth unfolds in full flow through-out the film. :) A thoroughbred entertainer. 3 hour long entertainment. That sums up Rajnikanth & Lingaa. It has it all...Romance, Comedy, Songs, Locations, Oppulence, Old world charm, an evil Brisher, Costumes....& ACTION (our Rajni saar, like a true-blue footballer, even kicks a flying bomb in the air, re-directiong it to fall in the waters below. :D Aah...theres NOTHING that RajniCANT do.) Add to that, our own KRS dam & the spendour of Mysore Palace & Lingaa makes for a fultu Paisa vasool film. One pleasurable experience it was for a first-time Rajni movie goer like me...nd Im still smiling. Go watch it....for the enigma called Rajnikanth. And you will come out feeling good that we have such a larger-than-life rock star in our country. No wonder he is adored by millions. Take a bow Rajni Saar. :)
