And finally...might I offer a few comments re Charlie Ebdo? Nothing to do with the dead at all. Only re the mag. Followed it for years. It struggled in recent times overtaken by Le Canard Enchaine in the satire circuit. Losing money...lots...it was in reality a bit of a dinosaur with a bowel problem. Most other places in the world it would have found itself in court innumerable times...even I blanched at some of its stuff. Yet I do defend its right to publish. If we cannot challenge at every level then democracy...a somewhat fluid term these days...is not worth the paper it is printed, often faintly, on.
