It is the tradition of tribal societies with low status that oppress women and cause misconceptions about Islams views on women.Over fourteen hundred years ago, Islam gave women rights that women in the Western world less than a hundred years ago that the Western world recog nised the right of women to property, while Islam granted this right long ago. Islam regards women as precious and valuabl, not to be disrespected or disgraced.Muslim women that are aware of this are proud that they have Islam as a religion which allows them to shine in all fields of life.People wrongly associate patriarchal ideas with Islam. This is to tally wrong.Islam allows equal rights for women to choose their life partner, to seek education and to get equal reward and equal responsibility. Never will I allow the loss of the work of any worker amongst you,male or female; you are of one another. Quran 3:195. Controversy often surrounds the issue of the Islamic veil hijab. According to Islam Muslim women need to wear veil to protect them from be coming mere objects for men’s lusts and desires. It is not for the purpose of suppression but a way to keep them safe from evil eyes of the society. Women are like pearls that are kept in a shell in order to be safe. They are so delicate that they need a shield to pro tect them and their shield is the Hijab. Hijab is their protector and their pride which makes them differ yours sincerely.....
