And have you not read this scripture; “The Stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner … ?” (Mark 12:10) (Paraphrased) The Stone was rejected … but He promised to never reject anyone who comes to Him. Jesus Christ, the Stone … came to form a BODY … to birth an ORGANISM … energized by the power of the Holy Ghost. The Builders who rejected the Stone … labored to construct a BUILDING … an ORGANIZATION … directed by the authority of men. Today I must recognize that the works of the World will be burned up … and God will create a new Heaven and a new Earth. Only the things that I do for Christ will survive the fire. I can choose … to reject the Stone … to continue building my life upon the sand … trusting in the philosophies of the World … conforming to the Worlds values … adopting the Worlds priorities and goals … constructing a life built by my own self-will … and hoping that God will bless the life I have designed and created. Or, I can let the Stone become the Head of the corner of my life … by keeping His sayings. The effort it takes to deny my self-will is worth it. The Stone that the Builders rejected … will energize me to take up my cross. He will work with me … and comfort and encourage me to follow Him. He said that if I come to Him, He will in no way reject me. His promises are sure … He will never leave me … and never forsake me. His ears are open to my prayer. Jesus, thank You for loving me … for living inside me … for saving me. I love You, Lord. Lord, let us hear Your voice more clearly … grant us grace to live for You, today. Let us walk closely after You. Help us … strengthen us … order our steps … so that we can work and provide for our households … while at the same time laboring for Your Kingdom … serving Your Body … sharing in Your work. Bring order out of the chaos in our lives. Lord, our children and grandchildren need You … as do we. Will you deliver each and every one of us … from confusion … and the bondage of the flesh? Let Your perfect will be done in our lives … let Your mind drive away the attitudes that separate us from each other … let Your heart melt the stones of regret, unforgiveness, and bitterness … let Your Spirit stimulate us to love and mercy. Sharpen our focus onto eternal priorities. And, answer every cry, pitying every groan … I ask, in Jesus name.
