And he said, “Thus says the Lord : ‘Make this valley full of ditches.’ ...‘You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, 2Kings 3:16-17 Friends, the way of faith and the road to the blessing is this— God has promised it; we will get ready for it; God is engaged to bless, now let us be prepared to receive the blessing, often times its not the way we planned. Are you acting on the mere strength of what you have, or in expectation of that which you have asked? Act for God on the faith of what He will give, rather than on the faith of what you have as yet obtained. Believe that, with God, a promise is as good as the fulfilment, and act when you have the promise as you would have acted if you had already seen the promise fulfilled. What are you waiting on God for? A new job? Act as though you have it. A child? A changed spouse? Financial increase? I urge you to make the valley of your faith full of ditches. Prepare for a blessing! Prepare largely! Be blessed.
