And here we are.....closing in on another year. Without a doubt, the worst year of my life. If were lucky we learn from our mistakes and are able to move foward. Im not sure Ive done either. Im trying if that matters. I just dont seem to be getting the hang of it just yet. I guess some things just stick with us a little longer than others. The lowest of lows Ive experienced in the past 8 months. Moments I hope I never have to repeat. Moments I cant repeat. Ive always said the most important things in life are family. I know this better now than ever. Ive lost mine over the past several months. I was fortunate enough to get them back.......but most days I dont feel very deserving. I say these things to you because without a doubt there are people reading this who have gone through the same thing as me. Sure, you might not know my details....but youve been here. Heres hoping we can make the changes we need to make in the coming year that will take us back to happier times. I always make New Years Resolutions, and most of the time never follow through with any of them. This year I plan on turning my life around. I guess Ive just been blind to my surroundings over the past several years that have taken me to where I am now. A better Friend, Son, Husband and Father. Thats my New Years Resolution. To be better.
