And how long are the prices on the healthcare insurance exchange good for? Kathleen Sebelius was heard to say that on and MSNBC interview with Rachel Maddow that prices will not change through the 6 month enrollment period. But what about after that, is anything locking them in place or are the private insurance companies backing the policies able to adjust the costs? I’m guessing what happens to rates relies heavily on enrollment on each particular plan, where a high enrollment could actually reduce the rate and a low enrollment could raise the rate of force the insurer to drop that particular plan altogether, but I don’t know this for a fact, I guess I have my homework for tonight.
