And now a Heads Up on traveling. Did you know that if you book airfare through any of those sites like Obitz, CheapAir etc... you might be paying more than if you book through the airlines themselves? I booked Frontier through CheapOAir and when I got to the counter they informed me that it would be $25 to check my one bag. If I had booked through the Frontier site, she said, the one-bag-check-in would be free. No problem I said. Im carrying this one on the plane. Well, then that will be $50 for a carry on, she said without smiling. (PS: no smiling on planes these days. No customer service. No thrills.) Plus, since I had lay overs and was changing planes, it would be $50 for EACH leg of the trip. So... get all the facts before booking that flight. My friend tells me that she checks the airfares on those travel sites, but then hops over to the airlines themselves to book the flight. Just an FYI! PS: I shipped my bag home, thereby saving money and aggravation; not an option for everyone.
