And now, a few behind-the-scenes facts about Silverlight & Whiteleaf Jewellery: I typically take between 40 and 100 photographs of every jewellery design before selecting 4-8 photographs to edit and use as the product photographs you see in my webshops. Editing the photographs often takes longer than creating the jewellery itself. The photographs not only have to look good, they have to represent as closely as possible the jewellery they depict. What the camera sees is frequently different to what our eyes perceive, so I use photo-editing software to tweak colours, lighting, sharpness, and a host of other factors to make what you see online resemble as closely as possible the jewellery that you receive.
