(( And now its time for pointless rants with admin, the part of the show where the admin comes out, and pointlessly rants. Ever notice how were called an RPing /community/? Were not just a bunch of people, but a community. And what do people do in a community? They /help/ each other. They /stick with/ each other. Why is that so hard for people to understand? Like me? I will never, /ever/ intentionally abandon a roleplay. Ever. If I dont respond, that simply means Im having a personal problem, or somethings wrong with facebook or the internet. Even if I cringe everytime a certain reply comes, Ill keep it going. Why? The answer is simple: thats what Id want done to me. Ill be honest with you. When I first joined this lovely little group, I was a positively /awful/ roleplayer; I had no clue what to do and Nikki here was a complete Mary Sue. Yet, there were still people kind enough to keep roleplays going. Because of that, eventually, my character was able to develop into something more-- something Im really proud of. And I would absolutely /love/ it if I were to be that person to roleplay with a flat character and get to watch them grow into something amazing. On top of that, you never know what someone might be going through. There are going to be times where things are just falling apart, and people just dont know where to turn. Thats also happened to me on multiple occasions, and I thank you so much if you were one of the people I vented to. Anyway, if someone ever needed to vent to me, well... im not the best at comforting people, but I will definitely listen and be there for you. Thats also a big part of this community, right? The thing that sparked this rant is something I saw earlier, where the admin of a page was /not/, in fact, acting this way. They bascially said they would only talk with people who were worth their time and were good. And I was like, Well excuse the fudge outta me!! Like, seriously? Someone whos worth your time? And exactly /who/ are you to judge whos good and whos not? And even if they arent... So what!? They can get better, and you could help them along instead of being like, well, youre just not worth it. Do you have any idea how that makes a person feel? It made me feel pretty bad, Ill tell you that (theyd totally ditched our roleplay-- I guess i wasnt worth his/her highness time). Think about these things, alright? Think about the person on the other side of that conversation before you pull something like that. After all, this is a community, and were supposed to accept others and have fun here, right? Ah, glad thats out of the way. This has been pointless rants with admin. ))
