And so I became, a Citizen Of This United States! Amazing how life is sometime, born in Nigeria, Raised in England and moved to the States at the age of 17! Little did I know what to expect. I just knew this Country would be the place for me. Mind you, Ive been a visitor to this Country since the age of 8. Back then, it was fun and play for summer holidays! Out of all the places Ive been around the World, the States has been the longest, Ive resided in, 26yrs for a matter of fact! As I was sitting at the ceremony, on my right, sat a Venezuelan and my left sat an Iraqi! How amazing how this Country is built of so many Nationalities, who also serve in the Military! Im still learning and still trying to accomplish because it was written! So today, I thank my wife and kids, friends and families for the encouragement along the way. Especially to my Mother, who gave me the go ahead to become! The irony of it all was today is her birthday! You can imagine how I felt, when the letter came to report on this day! Yes indeed, there are Angels out there🙏
