“And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.” (John 6: 4). The miracle of feeding the five thousand took place some days before the Feast of Passover. Passover was a regular feast of the Jews; it was a planned feast; it was a feast that existed in the calendar. Everyone knew when to expect the celebration of Passover.When Jesus showed up, He gave the multitude an unexpected feast. He gave them an unannounced celebration before their planned celebration; He gave them a feast that was not in their calendar. It was a Divine surprise packaged by Jesus. They had no idea that a feast was coming, but Jesus made it happen.Friend, get set for Divine Surprises. Get set for divine provision that you did not bargain for; get set for miracles you didn’t pray for; get set for unexpected promotions; get set for unannounced celebrations. You shall have testimonies, celebrations and favours you didn’t labour or plan for. God will give you a Divine Surprise.Before you get what you are looking for, God will cause another one to happen; before that expected financial breakthrough, God will grant you an unexpected financial breakthrough; before the next level you are already anticipating, God will give you a higher level; God will give you new miracles, blessings, promotions, jobs, achievements, etc that are not in your calendar of expectations.Look beyond what you have planned for and start expecting what God Himself planned for you; start expecting your Divine Surprises and Unexpected Celebrations.Psalm 44 vs: 3 puts it this way: “For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.” Pray With Me: Lord, grant me Divine Surprises and Unexpected Celebrations, in Jesus name!
