And we are FINALLY home :) Long days are made longer when you dont leave till smack in the middle of rush hour traffic and leave the clinic after handing off with hubby to a $100 ticket because he forgot to put handicap card up, we have had it since he has been in treatment...and still forget. LOL You either get that traffic in the morning or evening...cant there be a happy medium where we get there AFTER morning traffic and home by evening? LOL He will have his bone marrow aspiration Thursday. So we will try not to think/worry about that until then! They will biopsy (looking for cancer cells) and take a piece of bone (its as painful as it sounds afterwards..hes under anesthesia while they do it) to see how much marrow he has. Basically they look at it and see how high up the marrow goes to gauge how much he has. Last time he was 10-20% of what he should have :( We need to hope and PRAY that it has gone up. If not, things could get bumpy again as he will need more of the bone marrow and meds to prevent GVHD....which is why we are in treatment now. It caused a problem. So we dont want that made worse. But it is what explains the fact that he still needs platelets/blood as often as he does this far from transplant. SO Thursday bright and early clinic and then to hospital for procedure. Tomorrow we will be in Charlotte doing an act of kindness..we will reveal tomorrow!! Stay tuned if your in Charlotte/will be in Charlotte/know someone in Charlotte. We will be doing a scavenger hunt act of kindness on the way to the other...it will be hidden and whoever finds it-gets it. We will reveal clues of what it is/where until its found. Someone did this in San Francisco and Chris thought it was neat...we will see! If it works as planned and turns out good we are hoping to repeat in Concord and another local city before we are done! Thank you again for all of the help with the pennies, two packages arrived today FULL of pennies! And helping spread the word on birthday cards! We will add them to the pot, imagine more will come before the month is out! He got video games for two months after he stopped, just showed up randomly :) ~Michelle
