“And why are you so happy?” Can you believe a complete stranger came up and asked me that yesterday, while I waited for some coffee I had ordered! She was such a nice old lady who gave me lots of compliments, and even though I insisted that I wanted to buy her a cup of coffee she refused! I told her that I was just thinking how despite everything going on in my life right now, I’m surprisingly very happy! The joy of the Lord is our strength, my guys! All these attributes of my God are mine: his power, my protection; his wisdom, my guidance; his faithfulness, my foundation; his grace, my salvation. And once you trust and believe this, you can dance through the fires of this life KNOWING you don’t go through them alone! How sweet is that? I’m still sucking up to God as much as I can! In every moment, every example and every experience I’m trying to do the right, excellent and most loving thing! Forget what everyone else is doing, let’s be about doing our best for God! EVERYTHING is between us and Him and the reason I could be so happy is that He hasn’t let me down yet! “FOCUS ON ME”’ I feel is my constant reminder from God, not on the problems, KNOWING He’s with me and for me! WE GO WITH GOD!
