And you want to change the world, you say? Then pray. I am convinced that history belongs to the intercessors. This is why we gather for Cry of the Broken. It is birthed out of the whisper of God saying In as much as you are doing in the physical world, you must also do in the spiritual (to fight the injustices of trafficking & slavery). Have we even made a dent? I have spent the last year weaving in and out all that going on in the Bay Area and Ill tell you, there is a LOT happening. And that is AWESOME. But are we equally spending time in prayer? Gulp. Only heaven knows. Prayer is mostly a secret endeavor. Again and again I hear this desire across the Bay Area organizations, both faith-based and country-based -- unity collaboration - everyone knows we cannot solve this vast, complex issue. Everyone wants to tell their story and to hear others story. We know we cannot heal our land if we function as islands. We, as believers, have the answer to it all. Jesus. He releases in an instant. He heals in an instant. He can do in an instant what no group of humans serving all their lives can do. Please take a moment to read this blog.
