Andrew D. Basiago was the first American child to teleport and approximately the 25th human child to teleport in DARPAs Project Pegasus. Of the 140 US schoolchildren involved in Phase 3 of Project Pegasus, he was once told that he was the youngest or second youngest child participant. Phase 1 was staffed by three Navy enlisted men who perished when they asphyxiated because the vortal tunnel that was opened up was too long and they ran out of air. Phase 2 was staffed by disadvantaged children from the streets of Latin America who survived the teleportation testing and were adopted into American households and given the advantages they had been deprived of as street children. Of the 14 color-coded teams of 10 children who participated in Phase 3, Andy was the captain of Blue Team and in that capacity was responsible for getting himself and the nine other members of his team back to 1971 after they were accidentally teleported to 1991 in what Andy calls The Quantum Excursion to 1991. Andy summoned the Sandia National Laboratory and the children got back to 1971 with the assistance of Sandia personnel. -- Andrew D. Basiago
