Andrew returns to the clinic in the morning. He is going in for labs. He will begin another round of cytarabine injections Friday night at home. The cytarabine combined with another oral med are known to cause stomach upset and low ANC levels. The effects are cumulative. The more he has the more of a chance he can experience side effects. He finished his third round Monday and has not been feeling the greatest this week. We are thankful he was able to keep some food down and also felt well enough to play around the house. We are thankful he went another week fever free and with no hospital visits. Andrews strength and his willingness to do what is expected of him is truly inspiring. Its amazing what God can teach us through our children. This passage comes to mind tonight as I think about Andrew and how he has handled all of the treatment so far. That word ALL is in there again. Andrew is such a blessing! God is certainly at work within him. Philippians 2 13 For it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. 14 Do ALL things without grumbling or disputing; 15 so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world…
