Andy Welsh Leaves FC United. Following the announcement that was made on 31st October 2014 click here we can confirm that Andy Welsh has now left the club. FC United manager Karl Marginson said: “I am sorry that Andy’s signing did not work out as both he and I had hoped but we wish him well for the future. In the short time that Andy was here we benefited from his experience.” Andy was equally disappointed but wished the club well: ‘There are very few non-league clubs that I would have considered playing for; I was sold on FC United by the club’s vision and fantastic support. I am disappointed that things haven’t worked out but I will always retain respect and affection for FC United and will be watching the club’s progress with a keen interest. I wish the club all the best in their chase for promotion this season.
