Anette Selch Jensen πριν από 14 ώρες Every day life on the roads in Romania...this dog was slowly walking alongside the road between two villages. There are no houses - just a wild forrest and the river. I saw her from the distance. She was walking with difficulty and when she got closer I saw that she was a skeleton with patches of fur only ! She hid in the bushes and would not come out even if I took some food and tried to lure her to come. She stopped in the bushes and waited. I was on my way to the other village to return a female dog that was neutered and to take 3 other dogs for neutering. I tried to call her and talk to her but she stayed in the bushes and I was afraid to scare her so she would not "run" away into the forrest. The dogcatcher decided to tranquilize her, even if she looked like she was kept together by the skin only. it took a few minutes for her after she was hit by the tranquilizer dart to fall asleep and we could take her to the car. All the way to the next village and while we chased the other dogs to be neutered we both checked on her that she was still breathing and alive. I waited with a lot of anxiety for the vet to call me and tell how the dog was. Finally the call came - the vet gave me good news. The dog had a successful surgery she was awake and moving her head. All the tests were negative !!!! The dog was shaved of the last patches of dirty fur she still had and will remain at the clinic for as long as the vet thinks it is good for her. It was a miracle that she made The vet is a wonderful person who puts her heart into every thing she does for the dogs or cats !!!!
