Angelite and blue wing anhydrite, calcium sulfate minerals, are basically the same thing. Their difference lies within the way they form. Angelite (native to Peru) formations are generally of a smooth nature whereas blue wing anhydrite usually forms in clusters resembling wings or frozen waterfalls. The healing properties of these gentle light blue stones give off a soft calming energy.
