Angels Among Us Pet Rescue Options for this story Maybach here...I am in great need of a retirement home!! Is there someone out there who can offer a soft cushy bed & warm blankets to curl up in? You see, I am a senior pup with a lot of life still left in me. I love stuffed animals to play with & like to take walks on a leash, foster mom says I am an amazing leash walker, whatever that means...I just look up at her & smile. My life was saved about 2 months ago from a nasty place called Animal Control...jail, horrible place! Yuck! I noticed lots of cell mates coming & going. Some never returned & then another one was put in the cell. I assume they were going to a better place, not sure. Then one day an Angel came by and told me how cute I am & that I needed much care & love. A couple of days later I was swept from my cell & taken to a place called a vet. I was happy during the drive but a bit scared, hoping I was going to a better place. The vet was ok, better than the AC, the people were nice but I didnt feel like this was a place to call home. The vet said I need lots of good food and should gain much needed weight...I thought, no kidding!!! I am starving, food, YES, food please!! Then a few days later I saw the Angel lady again. She brought me to her home & fed me lots of delicious food. Ive now gain several pounds & been given medicine that taste like peanut butter. Its sooooo yummy!! I am house trained & I do not shed. I dont want to be without my human. I get attached & am afraid my human will leave & never come back so at times I bark when they leave me alone. I love face rubs & having my chin scratched. Foster mom thinks I have some sheepdog in me because of my hair & personality. I would love to have a nice place to retire & live out the rest of my life loving my human.
