Angelz Psalms 91: 11 Hebrews 13:2 1 Peter 1 : 12 Psalms 8: 5 1 Corinthians 6:3 Hebrews 1: 7 Hebrews 1: 14 John 15:14- 15 John 4: 10 Romans 8 : 15-17 John 3: 16 Romans 8: 38-39 Romans 11: 11 Angels- ministering spirits( Heb. 1 : 7, 1: 14) In the beginning, before we were created, God created other heavenly beings called Angels. They were created simply to give glory to God and serve Him throughout the ages. They had freewill just as we did. I will not go into any theological differences but thats how life has it. As you know, Satan( formerly Lucifer) was the best angel ever created and because of his pride, he sought to receive higher glory than God and thus was thrown out and resides in Hell, which was created for Him and the 1/3 of angels who followed him. Note: Angels were not given grace. hold that thought! When God created humans, we were made the highest form of creation. In Psalms 8: 4- 5 it says, What is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him. For you have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. God made this universe for US, made this earth for US. God sends His angels to minister to us and to guard us( also called guardian angels). Psalms 91: 11 says, For He shall give His angels charge over you. To keep u in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up. Lest you dash your foot against a stone. We always let Satan gain a foothold and to tell us that we arent significant. That is one of his biggest tricks is to make you feel worthless when you have the most worth to God. If you are a believer, you are considered a friend of God. John 15: 14 says, You are my friends if you do whatever I command you. The verse after this gives the reason why we are able to learn the secrets of God, only we can do this! It says No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing: but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father, I have made known to you. Wow, God loves us and wants an actual relationship, which angels cannot have! Angels cannot receive grace for their sins, neither can they have a relationship with God! We are able to have that special relationship with God because we are able to connect with His Holy Spirit. This is a gift of God. In John 4: 10 Jesus is talking to the Samaritan woman when He says, If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, Give Me a drink, you would have asked Him and He would have given you living water. Living water is water that continually running and it pours. At the Day of Pentecost, the gift of God was given and we can have it today as Christians. The Holy Spirit is poured out on us as a gift. How great is our God! By this Holy Spirit, we change our relationship from creation and created to son and Father! In Romans 8: 15- 17 it says, For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, Abba, Father. The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs- heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. Abba is Aramaic for Father. So this is a personal relationship with Father and son! Through this relationship we are able to learn the mysteries of God through the Holy Spirit, which the angels cannot. In fact in 1 Peter 1: 12 it says, To them( prophets) it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven- things which angels desire to look into. We need to cherish what we have. Angels desire to look into it, demons and Satan desire to take it, but cannot. In Romans 8: 38- 39, Paul says, For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities ,nor powers, nor things present ,nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. This relationship is also a gracious gift because it was originally for Israel( Romans 11: 11) , but through Gods wonderful plan, He has made it available to the Gentiles( you and me). If God loves His angels, who are servants, how much more does He love you and me, who have an opportunity to become His friends. If you want to know Christ and become His friends, just pray this prayer, Father I now realize that I have sinned and fallen short of your glorious standard. I need you in my life. change my heart.
