Anger and Man Toys cross barriers: Darryl has a hard time doling out money. Darryl is kind to living things. BUT when these little bitty birds come around in flocks of hundreds and eat our crop Darryl becomes a little insane. Be aware that out of our 8 cherry trees we got about 1 bowl of fresh cherries this year! These birds eat the rest. Now the first season of figs is upon us. These little birds love them more than cherries. They can put their little beaks into a soft musky fig and suck out all of the inners. Over the years Darryl has tried every possible solution: Scarecrow, plastic snakes, owl replicas, loud music and reflective CD’s. Birds aren’t stupid; they come back. This year’s method is a rifle. Cost is $0.23 a shot. Maybe he gets one bird per shot. And please note on Luke’s FaceBook entry the size of these little birds. And each shot is removing a part of the tree. OH, I am not criticizing, but just laughing at My Man and the wrath caused by these little rascals
