Already one Tiger shark has been lured, painfully hooked, shot and dumped and two more have been lured, painfully hooked and released because they were under the required three metres. Tiger sharks have not been implicated in any of the the fatal shark interactions in WA in the last three years (if ever). Fisheries is unable to vouch for the condition of the sharks released. Be at the EVEN LARGER PROTEST AGAINST SHARK BAITING AND CULLING tomorrow morning from 10.00 AM with Katrina Love from AJP, Sea Shepherds Jeff Hanson, Christine Milne and Lynn MacLaren from The Greens, Tim Nicol of CCWA, ALP WA leader, Mark McGowan (yes, he lives! and he has come out in opposition to the cull), Sam Carmody, surfer & musician and Ross Weir from WASC.
