Animals are not good experimental models for human disease. Animal research is not VITAL for human benefit of any kind. Animal research is outdated, not scientific, misleading, and it does not work. Rodents were cured of cancer decades ago!! Animal research is VITAL for legal protection for companies and pharmaceuticals is more like it. Animal research also provides funding and publication for the vivisectionist. A pseudo science to say the least. I find it a joke that this article has spokespeople supporting animal research but whenever a debate is organised the animal researcher speaking for pros of animal research withdraws, cancels or does not show up, leaving the anti to speak to the audience on their own. Animal research is such a fraud the animal researcher cant even stand for the industry. SHAME to the Vivisection Industry and everyone involved in it! A great documentary to watch is CANCER: THE FORBIDDEN CURES.
