Animals play such an important role in our lives dosnt matter if your 5 or 50 or even 100. The reaction to a new wet nose is always the same Pure joy. I have always had a pet weather it was a dog or cat, couldnt imagine my life without one. Ive watched as shelters fill up with the ones that somehow slip through and find themselves with owners that dont know how to appreciate something with such a huge heart and expect nothing in return but pure love. Now the holiday season is fast approaching and the shelters will fill up again in January because someone has purchased a pet that wasnt wanted or they were unable to care for. So I ask my friends to pass this along. If you find yourself in the position that you want to add a pet to your family do this first. Make a list of all you and your family do and see if a pet fits into that schedule. Make sure you can take care of the pet. Then you will have a life long friend dogs and cats want so much to be a part of a loving home. And they do get depressed and their feelings do get hurt. Adopt from a local shelter the animals there are in need of loving families.
